Letter to Minister of Labor and Social SecurityNiki Kerameos, submitted by Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE)submitting a request for extension of the imposition of administrative sanctions for the digital work cardwith a view to its full implementation in retail from July 1st.
In its letter, ESEE refers to a series of problems faced by retail businesses that, in practical and realistic terms, make it necessary to accept the extension request.
In particular, it highlights that the latest clarification circular was issued just a few 24 hours ago, without actually answering many of the questions from traders and accounting firms.
The Confederation also refers to the complex parameters and technical requirements of the measure that create serious difficulties in its adaptation SMEeven amid increased workload due to the tourist season.
ESEE reminds us that these are the same retail businesses that, at the same time as they are asked to implement the digital work card, also participate in the second demanding and expensive process digital transformationrequired to connect POS to cash systems and to comply with the transmission of their transaction data to AADE in real time.
As part of providing more complete information to the commercial world about the implementation of the digital employment card measure, the president of ESEE, Giorgos Karanikas, met on Thursday with the commander of the Independent Labor Inspection Authority, Giorgos Tzilivakis.
