Kandi Burruss talks more about her departure from ‘RHOA’
On Monday, June 24, Streetz Atlanta sent footage from a recent interview with Burruss and her Xscape co-star Tameka “Tiny” Harris via YouTube. About 21 minutes into the interview, one of the show’s hosts asked Burruss a question. Additionally, they asked her if she was “happy” to have left the show before the current season.
“…Aren’t you glad you weren’t there this season?” Mz Shyneka asked Burruss. “They pulled out guns…threatened to shoot people – I don’t think that’s ever happened on the show before.”
In response, Burruss explained that she doesn’t really miss being part of the show now. However, she explained that her former co-star, Cynthia Bailey, thinks she will start to miss the show once the season airs.
“I don’t miss it as much now,” Burruss explained. “And realistically, I see things and think, ‘Why are they doing this?’”
Here’s what the Xscape singer thinks about Kenya Moore’s suspension
As the conversation continued, Burruss explained that he didn’t “like the fact that they suspended Kenya.”
“I know people thought, ‘She shouldn’t have shown that.’ But this is ‘Housewives’. I mean, how many times have we done things that you think someone shouldn’t do? So who made the rules? Like, why did you suddenly have a problem with someone doing something crazy to someone?
Burruss seemingly explained that Moore’s alleged actions toward co-star Brittany Eady were justified, as Eady “came to her” first.
“You don’t choose how she comes back,” Burruss added.
Ultimately, the Xscape singer explained that she “wasn’t feeling” the final decision made regarding Moore.
“But we’ll see when it appears on TV,” concluded the singer.

As The Shadow Room previously reported earlier this month, Page six published an exclusive report alleging that Moore hosted a private event at her Kenya Moore Hair Spa on Thursday, June 6.
At the time, it was reported that Moore “shocked party attendees” by showing posters of Eady performing oral sex.
Rumors later began to circulate that Eady learned of the incident and threatened Moore with a gun. However, Page six dispelled these rumors by citing a source who attended the party and denied the incident.
At the time, the outlet added that images of the event were captured by ‘RHOA’ cameras. However, it was unclear whether the incident would be televised.
Lastly, fellow ‘RHOA’ star Drew Sidora seemed to confirm the unexpected showing at the event by taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, with a brief message on June 6.
“I am amazed and shocked,” Sidora wrote at the time.

Then, on June 7, Eady appeared to confirm the alleged events at Moore’s party, accusing ‘RHOA’ of participating in revenge porn.

Ultimately, Moore denied Eady’s allegation and shared a final message on the matter via X on June 8th.
“I would never engage in revenge porn, distribute anyone’s private images or footage, or solicit images belonging to others to threaten or blackmail. I have always been justified. I can’t talk about HISTORY even with people planting fake news…” the ‘RHOA’ star wrote.

However, on June 14, Entertainment tonightt published a report stating that the media outlet had been informed of Moore’s indefinite suspension from the show.
“Kenya was suspended for allegedly depicting Brittany performing a sexual act at the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta, from images allegedly found online. The network is still reviewing the content shown by Kenya during filming,” the source told the channel.
At this time, it remains unclear when and if Moore will return to production.
