Sony has debuted the thrilling and exciting first trailer for Here on Wednesday, which employs some radical computer-generated de-aging effects to make Hanks and Wright appear to be in their 20s, 30s, and even old age.
The film tells the epic story of one room – the living room – in a family home. The trailer goes from the time of the dinosaurs, where the living room will one day be, through the era of cavemen, through indigenous societies, through the era of colonizers and settlers, through the construction of one’s own house, and then through lives. of the families that called that house home.
We see Paulo Bettany as Tom Hanks’ character’s father in what appears to be the 1960s, and all the love, triumph, pain and joy of their lives — with the main story spanning over a century.
The film is described as “a revolutionary, breathtaking odyssey through time and memory. The groundbreaking story is centered on a place in New England where from wilderness, and then, later, home – love, loss, struggle, hope and legacy play out between couples and families across generations.”
Zemeckis – who also directed Forrest Gump – brings together Hanks and Wright in this mind-bending saga through time and shows their love throughout its course.

“We got the band back together and it was like no time had passed. It was incredible,” Wright, 58, told ET in March.
Released in June 1994, Forrest Gump was tremendously successful, becoming the highest-grossing film in America that year. The film received 13 Oscar nominations and six wins, including Best Picture.
“It’s sentimental without being cheesy,” Wright said about why Forrest Gump It’s so sweet. “I think it touched everyone’s heart, you know.”

“We wondered what we were doing and wondered if it all made any sense,” Hanks said, laughing.
The project – which tells the story of a simple but kind-hearted man who, through luck, fate and circumstance, had a huge impact on the world around him – was one of the most ambitious films of its time and yielded Hanks received his second Oscar for his role as Forrest Gump.
