The EPO’s disciplinary committee rejected Aris’ appeal for Magomed Suleimanov to be punished for what happened at the Panthessaliko stadium after this year’s Greek Cup final.
The “yellow and black” footballer was punished with a five-game suspension for attempted violence against Stephanie Frapar, the French referee who officiated the final.
The Thessaloniki team filed an appeal to reduce the sentence, but the competent committee of the EPO rejected it.
The announcement:
“The EPO Appeals Committee made the following decision at its last meeting. It formally accepts and rejects in substance the appeal of PAE Aris football player Suleymanov Magomed-Shapi against Commission decision No. 450/29.05.2024 EPO Disciplinary (5-day suspension).”
