Six European leaders negotiating names for the main positions in the European bloc agreed to nominate Ursula von der Leyen for a second term as president of the European Commissionthey reported Reuters, AFP and German news agency (dpa)sources involved in today’s negotiations.
The agreement provides that the former Prime Minister of Portugal Antonio Costa its next president will be named European Council.
The Prime Minister of Estonia Kaya Callas she will be the new boss European Union foreign policy.
The agreement comes ahead of a summit of EU leaders on Thursday and Friday in Brussels to decide who will lead the European Union institutions for the next five years.
