Kevin Costner refers to the stars of Bachelor Nation. ET’s Cassie DiLaura spoke with O Yellow stone alum on Monday Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 premieres in Los Angeles, and he talked about how he understands those who look for love on TV.
“You can not no bump into that show. Even if you think you’ll ignore it sometimes, just stop, look and ask yourself,” Costner, 69, told ET about the Bachelor franchise. “These are really beautiful people, beautiful women, and everyone is trying to create a relationship in front of a billion people. I have a little experience with that.”
In fact, a lot of speculation has swirled around Costner in recent months after your divorce from his longtime wife, Christine Baumgartner, after 18 years of marriage. He and Baumgartner share three children: Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14, whose half makes his acting debut in the film. Costner is also father to Annie, 40, Lily, 37, Joe, 36, and Liam, 26, from previous relationships.
More recently, rumors surfaced that Costner began a romance with Jewelhowever, the actor denied thisinsisting that he “never went out” with the singer.
Costner’s acceptance of Bachelor Nation is probably good news for Joana Vassosthe first star of The golden bachelorette. In a recent interview with ET, she revealed Costner and Rob Lowe while your celebrity falls in love.
“I love Kevin Costner. Since Yellow stone“I just think he’s the rugged, sexy guy,” she told ET. Kind of the opposite of Rob Lowe, who is kind of polished. He is so beautiful.”
Vassos and the rest of Costner’s fans will soon be able to see him on Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1which follows families, friends and enemies discovering the attraction of the Old West amid the Civil War.
“It’s really nice to celebrate a film and celebrate this particular film tonight and be here with my actors, my family,” he said. “This is my city. I love being part of the film community here in Hollywood.”
After the promotion ends for HorizonCostner said he plans to “figure out how to have more fun.”
“The truth is, I love making movies, but I still have to figure out how to see this world that I’ve been lucky enough to walk through,” he said. “For me, (fun is) a beach, with good friends and somehow getting into the water. Sometimes I like to sink. I like to just shut everything out. There’s a whole world down there.”
Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 will hit theaters on June 28th.
