Lorenzo Brown was born on August 26, 1990 in Illinois, United States, and is 1.96m tall. and competes in guard positions.
As a high school senior, he played at North Carolina State from 2010 to 2013. In his second NCAA season, he averaged 12.4 points, 7.2 assists and 4.3 rebounds. Overall, in his college career he averaged 11.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.
Brown was selected 52nd overall in the 2013 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and on September 26 signed his first professional contract with the team.
