Taylor Swift brought out Travis Kelce on her 3rd night Eras Tour in London stop, proving that, once again, she is a mentor.
After two nights of surprising fans at Wembley Stadium, Swift, 34, delivered the final blow by bringing her Kansas City Chiefs player boyfriend34, on stage during the set list for his latest album, Department of Tortured Poets. On Sunday night, more than 80,000 fans in attendance watched Travis — wearing a black tuxedo and top hat to match Swift’s other dancers — carry his girlfriend on stage in his arms.
There, #87 – who Swift fondly referred to as “the Chiefs guy” — stood still as Swift’s dancers (per her choreography) removed her dress to reveal a white two-piece underneath, while Travis watched from afar, fanning himself and smiling from ear to ear.
Before leaving the stage and letting Swift sing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”, one of the most listened to songs in Department of Tortured Poets So far, Travis has adorably pretended to apply makeup to his loverSwift’s face, smiling as Swift – acting like some sort of rag doll – pretended to be over the whole situation.
Fans – who adorably bequeathed the couple the “Tayvis” briefcase – quickly took to social media to express their excitement over the NFL tight end’s impromptu appearance, who was seen earlier in the evening in the VIP tent after previously attending the first two shows at Wembley with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce — Who participated in their first Eras show on Friday.
“There is something extremely poetic about Travis Kelce carrying Taylor Swift after her heart was broken…”, one person he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“Travis Kelce after being in the VIP tent for the third night in a row,” another user he wrotehilariously attaching a clip of Ryan Gosling as Ken in 2023 Barbie.
“Travis had a friendship bracelet and a dream less than a year ago, now he’s on the Eras Tour stage #LondonTSTheErasTour“, A fan he wrotereferencing the origins of Swift and Travis’ love story.
Who could forget that Travis saw Swift perform her Eras Tour show last summer at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City – the Chiefs’ home stadium – and chose to “shoot his shot” for Proposing her to come watch him dominate Arrowhead. Swift later attended his first Chiefs game in September and quickly became a fixture in Missouri’s NFL fan base, attending 13 games (his lucky number) and watching the Chiefs win the Super Bowl in February.
Fast forward to today, and they’re taking on the world together — we’re not sure if there’s a drawer of Swift’s stuff in Travis’ house. Still, the couple is side by side and celebrating each other’s individual career victories, including Travis foray into the world of acting and Swift’s continued musical success.
In May, a source told ET that although they are increasingly busy in life, they are very much in love and are not afraid to show it. Plus, those closest to them wouldn’t be surprised if Travis popped the question and Swift accepted her proposal.
A source told ET at the time, “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and their loved ones see an engagement coming sooner rather than later.
Most recently, another person close to the couple shared that they are making their love work amid the distance between them as Travis prepares for the 2024 NFL season in the US and Swift continues with her European Eras Tour shows.
“Taylor and Travis are making sure the current long-distance aspect of their relationship doesn’t last long. They both change their schedules if feasible and try to set aside as much time as possible to see each other as well. as each other’s families and friends”, a shared source.
The source added, “They prioritize each other and do anything and everything to make each other happy. Their relationship is genuine and they both want it to work, so it works.”
