Sarah Jessica Parker I had two very sweet birthday wishes!
On Saturday, the Sex and the City star took to Instagram to write a sweet birthday tribute to herself and Matthew Broderickhis twin daughters, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta.
“Two divine 15 year olds. We are so lucky and we love you so much. Happy birthday to our dear Loretta and Tabitha. Celebrating you two today was pure joy. X, Mommy,” the 59-year-old actress wrote.
Next to the tribute was a photo of pink and brown party balloons. Parker has chosen to keep her children’s faces mostly off her social media platforms.
In addition to the twins, the Is that so.. star shares 21-year-old son, James, with Broderick.
Broderick and Parker’s children rarely come into the spotlight. In November, the couple appeared in a cozy selfie alongside all their children as they lay in bed. The deleted post was taken by his son and shared on his social media account.
In September 2022, Parker’s girls joined her and Broderick at the Hocus Pocus 2 carpet in New York City.
Although she keeps her daughters out of the spotlight, the actress recently opened up about an important lesson she’s teaching her daughters about their relationship with food.
In April, Parker appeared on Ruthie’s Table 4 podcast where she explained how her parents had a no-sugar policy in the house while growing up. Now, as a mother, Parker admitted that he handles his home very differently.
“In our house we have cookies, cake, we have everything,” Parker said. “And I think as a result you have a healthier relationship, and my daughters will have the body they have and hopefully be healthy. And they are athletes, they like food and they have different tastes. I can’t make someone like something they don’t like or want.”
Parker’s departure from her parents’ philosophy when it came to junk food was born out of her desire for her children to have a healthy approach to food and indulge if that’s what they wanted.
“I didn’t want them to have an antagonistic relationship with food,” Parker added, “or for them to feel like it was their enemy and that they had to, like, make a stand with food. “
