Lorenzo Brown is in Athens from today (24/6) to undergo medical examinations and sign for Panathinaikos.
Brown spoke to the press upon arrival and stated that he was excited about the development of his case, clarifying that he came “to improve my teammates”and conquer the Euroleague.
“The team has a lot of talent. There are high expectations. And me too. I am a talented player and I have high expectations for myself. I want to win titles with Panathinaikos. I want the European one. I’ve achieved so much more than that and it’s next on my list.” he stated.
“The coach (Ataman) was the one who chose me, he is one of the best coaches in Europe and we know that. He showed it last year, he showed it this year too”added the former Maccabi Tel Aviv player.
Regarding his role in the team, he emphasized that “… I didn’t come to be the best player, but to make my teammates better. I’m a point guard, that’s my role. To organize and help others”.
And Brown concluded by saying: “I’m in a very beautiful city like Athens. It’s fantastic to be here. There were previous discussions. It’s very important for me now that I’m at Panathinaikos”.
