Prince William is a Swiftie and has the dancing skills – and enthusiasm – to prove it!
The Prince of Wales was spotted dancing his heart out Taylor SwiftThe 2014 hit “Shake It Off” on Friday night during night one of his Eras Tour show at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Video circulating on social media shows the future king of England celebrating his 42nd birthday – rocking it alongside special guests in a private suite.
Among these guests were he and Kate Middletonthe two children – Prince George10 and Princess Charlotte9. After the sold-out show, Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelcewho also attended the show, had a private meeting with the royals backstage.
The “Fortnight” singer took several selfies with the team, giving William a birthday message, writing: “Happy birthday, M8! The shows in London started splendidly 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤝”
The image also marked the first photo of Kelce that Swift shared on her Instagram grid.
Guilherme too shared a photo of himself with Swift, George and Charlotte, on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account, writing: “Thank you @taylorswift for a great night! #LondonTSTheErastour.”
William has been a Swiftie for some time. You may remember that he and Swift took the stage alongside Jon Bon Jovi in November 2013 at the Centrepoint gala dinner at Kensington Palace in London, where they sang “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
Earlier in the day on Friday, the royal guard played Swift’s “Shake It Off” during the Changing of the Guard in honor of the Eras tour stop.
Swift will perform at Wembley Stadium from June 21-23 and again on August 15-17 and August 19-20. It’s not the first time that Swift’s Eras Tour show has been graced with royal presence. Last August, Prince Harry’the wife, Meghan Markle, made an appearance at Swift’s Los Angeles stop at SoFi Stadium.
