Six people dead and another 44 injured is the final number of a large fire that started in Nityarbakir from southeastern Turkey and extended to the neighboring province of Mardin.

The fire started yesterday, Thursday night, with the burning of crop residues in a field in the province of Cinar, 30 kilometers south of the city of Diyarbakir, and spread quickly, reaching, with the help of strong winds, the neighboring province of Mazidagi, in Mardin province.
While trying to put out the fire, three people died in Diyarbakir and three in Mardin. Of the 44 injured, the condition of ten is considered serious.
