In a new interview with In touchKyle says he hasn’t spoken to his famous father in more than 12 months and was allegedly barred from attending his latest show hearing.
Fans of the Chrisley family will remember that both Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley were sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison, respectively, after being discovered responsible for fraud against financial institutions and tax evasion. Their sentences have since been reduced to 10 and 5 years.
Kyle, who has had his own run-ins with the law, told the outlet he was involved about his father being behind bars, although he admits he had nothing to do with the truth star.
“I haven’t actually spoken to my dad in over 12 months,” Kyle said. “I actually don’t know why, but he didn’t respond to my emails and he doesn’t mention his name. I was actually going to attend the hearing, but I was told that my father didn’t want me to be there. I imagine someone even said they would ‘escort’ me if I showed up.”

Kyle said he was left out because of his strained relationship with his father and doesn’t know why Todd cut ties with him after he was under the impression they had worked things out.
“We reconciled. I moved to Tennessee in 2019 and from then until he was arrested, we talked every day, met for lunch, vacationed together… we’ve been fantastic,” he said.
Kyle even only visited Todd a few times after he went to prison.
“After he went to prison, we sent emails and I feel like I was able to reach out to him twice. I’m not sure what happened to make him stop contact a year ago, but after I was told not to attend the hearing, he actually removed me… from his list of legal contacts,” he shared. “I couldn’t say what the causes of it are.”
Kyle also has no contact with his stepmother and claims he has not been able to visit his 11-year-old daughter Chloe, who is being raised by her half-sister. Savannah Chrisley.

“It’s so hard because the first year my mom and dad were gone, in fact every weekend I was away. Every weekend I went to visit one of them,” said the 26-year-old. Chrisley knows best star set.
