Gordon Ramsay says he’s lucky to be alive after a scary bike accident and is thanking his helmet for saving his life.
O Kitchen nightmares star took to Instagram on Saturday and implored her more than 17 million followers to follow her advice when it comes to riding a bike: wear a helmet! The celebrity chef then shared that he seriously injured his body after “a very bad accident” while walking in Connecticut.
The father of six says he is doing well. No broken bones, but he injured the left side of his body. For good measure, Ramsay lifted his white chef’s jacket to reveal the massive bruise covering his torso.
“It really shook me,” Ramsay said when sharing details of the accident. “Honestly, I’m lucky to be here.
