Meg recently played Shade back in Charlamagne Tha God
Megan Thee Stallion has been taking over social media since kicking off her ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour alongside GloRilla in May. The Houston Hottie has been very successful since he started his journey.
Earlier this week, the ‘BOA’ artist uploaded a carousel of photos on Instagram to share some of her favorite moments from her tour with her fans. The caption on her post suggested some shade for ‘Breakfast Club’ host Charlamagne Tha God. She had markers explaining each photo in the carousel.
In her sixth point, Meg explained that she would brag about her milestones and addressed those who doubted her ability to perform in arenas.
“6. I’m going to snap for a second haha but people questioned if I was an arena artist,” she wrote. “…and I mean🤷🏽♀️ teehee.”
See the post below.
You may remember that back in May, Charlamagne talked about Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour during an episode of her radio show. The host questioned whether Meg was an “arena artist” after Ticketmaster began selling tickets to her tour for just $24.
“If she’s making arenas, she shouldn’t be making arenas. She is not an arena artist. Shout out to Megan Thee Stallion, but she’s not an arena performer, maybe a theater performer. Arenas is a lot”, he said.
However, despite Charlamagne’s claims, Meg’s tour is a success! She sold out several arenas, including Madison Square Garden, throughout her run with GloRilla.
Note that Charlamagne has already retreated in your comments shortly after you initially made them.
“I asked the question yesterday: Is Megan Thee Stallion an arena artist? Cleary, we got our answer, Jess just said she sold out 13 arena shows and I think I read over 240,000 tickets in North America and Europe. So, yes, if you are selling out arenas, clearly you are an arena artist,” he said.
