Turkish Foreign Minister will go to Russia tomorrow Hakan Fidanwhere he is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
Among other things, Hakan Fidan is expected to participate – as a guest country – in the BRICS meeting.
After all, it was something he announced on the sidelines of his visit to China, as Turkey “looks forward” to its cooperation with developing countries.
Remember that the last time Turkey participated in a BRICS meeting was in 2018.
The order of the day
The meeting – organized in Russia – will be attended by 15 BRICS member countries, including Turkey.
International security, sustainable development and global governance will be on the agenda.
Fidan is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the meeting.
Meeting with Lavrov
Hakan Fidan will also meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as part of his visit to Russia.
According to information from Hürriyet, the agenda of the talks will include the latest developments in Gaza, regional and international issues, especially Ukraine, Syria, Libya, Libya and the South Caucasus.
Furthermore, economic and trade relations between Turkey and Russia will also be one of the important topics of the Fidan-Lavrov meeting.
While efforts are being made to reaching the target of US$ 100 billion on the volume of commercial transactions defined by Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin, contacts will also be made to increase mutual investment.
