UEFA will distribute 331 million euros to the 24 teams that will participate in Euro 2024, which is equivalent to the 2021 tournament, although there was a reduction of 40 million euros due to Covid-19.
More than half of the money, however, has already been distributed, as each of the participating teams will receive 9.25 million euros.
The remaining amount will be distributed based on performance. A victory in each group stage game is worth one million euros, with the amount being shared in the event of a draw. Another 1.5 million is worth qualifying for the knockout stage.
From the round of 16 onwards there is no prize for victory or draw, only for qualification: entry into the round of 16 is worth 2.5 million euros and the semi-finals are 4 million euros.
The defeated finalist will receive an additional 5 million euros and the European champion 8 million euros.
This means that, at most, a team that wins all the group stage games and wins the trophy will be able to earn 28.25 million, an amount equal to what was distributed in 2021.
