Celebrities may be making tens of millions from their films and endorsement deals, but some stars say it’s not all that’s broken. Although many celebrities earn more than the average person, they say that being famous is actually very expensive. In fact, much of your earnings are paid to your managers, brokers and other employees – leaving them with less than you expected. And on top of that, there are many other unexpected prices they have to cover, making their fame quite expensive.

1. Sharon Stone
sharon stone I recently shared that the main downside to fame is how expensive it can be. Not only do family and friends expect you to pay for everything, but it also becomes expensive to pay publicists, makeup artists and managers – as well as a security team.
“It’s very expensive to be known. You go out to dinner and there are 15 people at the table. And who will receive the verification? You get the $3,000 dinner check every time,” Sharon shared with On style.

2. Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie says that when she started a profession in Hollywood, she didn’t know what she was getting into. When she achieved a new level of fame due to her role in Suicide squadshe ended up having to hire security labor, which ended up being extremely expensive.

I just wish someone had explained a lot of these issues to me from the beginning. I wouldn’t have resented where I found myself because I would have known what I was getting into.

We don’t do this alone. The fact that we are here is that a whole team is behind us. They need to receive a commission. So when you hear someone saying, ‘Oh, so-and-so made $10 million,’ no, that… didn’t go into their account,” she shared with SiriusXM.
She added: “Know that at most Uncle Sam is getting 50%. Okay, so do the math. Now we have $5 million. Your team is getting 30%, or whatever it is, of what you raised, not what Uncle Sam took. Now do the math…I’m only human, and it seems like every time I do something and break another glass ceiling, when it comes time to renegotiate, I’m at a disadvantage again, like I never did what I just did and I’m just exhausted. ”
