Post Malone It is Blake Shelton they are provoking us!
On Thursday, Malone, 28, got a little careless and shared a video of himself on Instagram listening to an apparent new country collaboration with Shelton, 47.
“🍻 @blakeshelton,” he captioned the post, with the clinking of beers being especially fitting as the music video says “someone pour me a drink.”
Fans commented that Malone must be in his “cowboy era” because this new song marks another track in his recent transition from rap to country.
Earlier this year, Malone and Beyoncé made headlines when they paired up for an unlikely duet by “LEVII’S JEANS” on his long-awaited country album Cowboy Carter. More recently, Malone performed a surprise duet with Reba McEntire at the ACM Awards 2024.
Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefaniseems to be especially excited about the upbeat country track.
“I can’t stand so many cool and cute things!!” she commented. “Super fan alert!”
Shelton then posted a Instagram video of himself shaking his head at Malone’s video.
“Somebody pour me a drink, somebody give me a cigarette,” Malone and Shelton can be heard singing together.
‘I’m about to go on a high / I’m about to go on a high.’ I’m breaking my back, just keeping up with the Joneses / You know what I mean, guys I know what it’s like,” they continue.
“👀 @postmalone,” Shelton captioned the clip, to which Malone responded with more clinking beer emojis.
“Well, shit!” ET’s Cassie DiLaura commented. She will co-host June 6-8 when Home Spotify returns for Shelton’s bar in Nashville, Ole Red, for the CMA Festival 2024.
I hope Malone and Shelton don’t keep us waiting too long.
