Zach BrownThe ex-wife is addressing the fact that he is asking a court to muzzle his Instagram posts… which she says is just him trying to play the victim and silence her.
Kelly Yazdi visited IG on Sunday to talk about Zac’s lawsuit last week – in which he sued her in an attempt to obtain an emergency restraining order… which required her to remove a Post on Instagram which he thinks violates an NDA she signed.
She shared a very long caption — along with a short video showing her statement — and the general feeling here is… ZB is wrong, and she feels like she should be able to speak out categorically about their marriage.
Kelly says the poems she shared on her IG do not include any confidential information in any way, or “let alone authorize a lawsuit to prohibit me from talking about issues in my private life that have nothing to do with my life.” . previous transitional work for the Zac Brown Collective, Inc.”
Kelly is also applauding that “Lovely Drug” music video — which she believes mocks their wedding event… and which she says includes a “false and defamatory caricature clearly intended to be me and harm me.”
She goes on to say that she finds it ironic that he made an announcement saying he hopes to resolve the matter privately/with mutual respect – despite the fact that she thinks he’s doing the other thing.
In fact, Kelly claims that she was the one who really needed to keep things low-key and resolve the divorce proceedings quietly. However, in her eyes, she thinks Zac resorted to personal attacks and dragged them out into the public. Now, she feels like she needs to defend herself.
Kelly adds: “It is clearly Zac, not me, who has strategically chosen to bring our difficult divorce negotiations into the eyes of the general public in these ways, in an effort to present himself as a sufferer and to use his enormous sources to silence me from telling the reality about our marriage. It won’t work, and I can’t be silenced by him, no matter how ridiculous his behavior is.”
Kelly ends by making it clear that she has her own legal squad capable of making as much noise as Zac – and will be fighting tooth and nail to tell her truth in court if it comes to that.
Zac has yet to respond to her post… but he has received the restraining order, telling TMZ: “After much deliberation, I have taken the necessary steps to implement an agreement between us to keep personal and business matters confidential and to protect my family against online harassment and speculation.”
He adds, “My only hope is that we keep private matters private and move forward with the mutual respect we agreed to show each other when we separated.”
As we reported… Zac and Kelly asked for divorce just four months after getting married last year.
