Davis made the jokes in the video (watch it for yourself and you’ll know why we won’t explain one to you)… while claiming that this is God’s way of getting him to stop devouring burgers and Cheetos all day.
It looks like we’ll be able to drop the “Big One” from his nickname when he gets out of prison.
A federal judge just sentenced former NBA star Glen “Big Baby” Davis to prison following allegations that he stole a ton of money from the NBA’s healthcare plan.
Davis, 38, was found guilty in November 2023 of being part of an alleged scheme that defrauded the NBA Players’ Health and Welfare Benefits Plan… and in a New York courtroom on Thursday, the former Boston Celtics champion was sentenced to spend 40 months behind bars because of it all.
Davis — who was facing a possible 20-year prison sentence in the case — was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release. Additionally, the judge said he must also pay $80,000 in restitution.
Davis wasn’t the only former hooper caught in the crosshairs of authorities in the case… prosecutors have already charged former NBA players Shannon Brown, Tony Allen, Jamário Lua, Tony wrote, Melvin Ely, Ruben Patterson It is Dario Miles of irregularities as well.
They also said they believed in the former first-round draft pick terrence williams was the mastermind of the scheme. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison last August.
