Daniellynn Birkhead is ready for horse racing action with a little help from your favorite action hero.
Ana Nicole Smiththe daughter hit the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky, wearing a red dress that her father, Larry Birkhead, said it is inspired by his favorite Japanese superhero. So much so that Dannielynn even brought the action hero figure!
“On our way to @kentuckyderby with Dannielynn after a great night at the Barnstable-Brown Gala and a quick haircut or two in the morning,” Larry shared in his caption. “Dannylynn’s dress was inspired by her favorite character Hino Eiji, Kamen Rider OOO TaJaDor combo – she made me write that 😆 – because that character had the same shoulders as the dress design she found! 🤷♂️ Hey, whatever works , just trying to spend some quality time as this weekend of traditions comes to an end.”
Fans loved the outfit. One follower commented: “I love that she is always dressed appropriately for her age. She is so beautiful!” Another added: “She’s so beautiful. You did a great job raising her! I’ve followed the whole saga with her and she’s so lucky to have you!”
Father-daughter duo’s appearance at Churchill Downs it has become a great tradition for themsomething Larry and Dannielynn’s followers said they look forward to every year.

Larry and Dannielynn kicked off Derby weekend by attending the star-studded Barnstable Brown Gala on Friday night. For the invite-only party, Dannielynn wore something else Janet Jackson-worn dress. Larry shared in an Instagram carousel post that he bought the dress at a charity auction.
No word yet if Dannielynn got to play with another rock star before the Derby like she did last year with Richie Sambora.
