The sweet reunion comes amid the king’s battle with cancer. Last month, Buckingham Palace announced that the 75-year-old monarch plans to “return to public duties following a period of treatment and recovery following his recent cancer diagnosis.”
Shortly afterwards, the royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET that the palace’s announcement should put an end to any speculation that Charles is unwell following his diagnosis.

Being able to return to his duties, the first of which was a visit to a cancer centerIt was good news for Charles.
“My sources say that probably the most frustrating thing for the king in all of this is that he hasn’t been able to do the job he wanted to do,” Nicholl said. “…He’s very, very relieved to be able to resume this.”
