Zendaya may be one of the four co-chairs of the 2024 Galabut she and Cockroach of the Law have been having a moment of procrastination for less than a week.
In a new encounter with The New York Timesthe 45-year-old fashion designer revealed that after two back-to-back press tours for Zendaya’s two blockbuster films, they’re only now catching up with her highly anticipated Met Gala look.
“I didn’t see Zendaya’s dress! We’ve been on two press tours – Dune 2 It is Challengers – and making two Vogue copper,” Roach – who will participate in the event alongside Euphoria actress, 27 – said. “The dress isn’t even made. It won’t fit until Saturday.”
The Emmy-winning actress has Roach largely to thank for putting her on the fashion world map and orchestrating her themed outfits for her press tours. During his recent Dune: Part 2 It is Challengers events, the star and her style confidant wowed crowds around the world with their sci-fi and tennis-inspired attacks, respectively.
At one point during the ladder promotion for the two films, the fashion duo paid tribute for Serena It is Venus Williams‘1998 Vogue shoot.
The talked-about press tour looks have only generated more excitement among fans who are eagerly awaiting to see Zendaya’s rendition of this year’s Met Gala theme, “The Garden of Time,” in conjunction with the “Sleeping Beauties: The Awakening of Fashion” exhibition. The pair will have their work cut out for them to overcome your look from Cinderella and Fairy Godmother 2019 for the theme “Camp: Notes on Fashion”. The pre-pandemic appearance was Zendaya’s last time at the Met Gala.

Throughout the press tour, Zendaya chatted with ET about everything from what it was like watching your hot scenes with your parents for how she felt having Serena and Venus watching she picked up a tennis racket for the film.
“She said, ‘I know there definitely weren’t real (tennis) balls,” Zendaya revealed of Serena’s reaction to the Challengers. “She knows. She’s the best of the best.”
Zendaya continued, “She said it was great considering I’ve never touched a tennis ball before.”
