Concern about waste
Lawyer Deepak Bikram Misra told AFP that with this decision the Court responded to the population’s concerns regarding nature protection in Nepal, which has eight of the ten highest peaks on the planet.
In addition to reducing the number of mountaineers, the court recommended that measures be taken to manage waste and protect the environment in mountainous areas.
