OJ SimpsonThe Bank of America credit card was auctioned off just over two weeks after his death.
The business account card, which expired in 2023, sold for $10,675 in Goldin Auctions …generating quite a profit for the seller after purchasing it on eBay for just $70.
Jonathan Lepore told us that he initially planned to gift the card to his friend’s father, who apparently used to hang out with OJ and Nicole BrownSimpson in the Hamptons during the 80s and early 90s.
He couldn’t find it and forgot he owned the card until news of JO’s death refreshed his memory earlier this month and he decided to sell it.
Founder and CEO Goldin Ken Goldin was moved by auctioning the card, predicting it would achieve some impressive numbers. The final count, after 63 proposals, certainly lives up to the hype.
But Jonathan won’t keep the final sale price for himself. He’s doing something good by donating 10% of profits to the National Network to End Domestic Violence.
TMZ broke the story… on Friday, O.J. official cause of death it was confirmed to be prostate cancer. Simpson passed away on April 10 at age 76, after spending several months in and out of hospital care.
