Sofia Vergara and Dr. Justin Saliman’s emerging novel is heading in the right direction.
“Sofia and Dr. Justin Saliman’s relationship has gotten more serious,” a source tells ET. “They are having so much fun together and really enjoy each other’s company.”
Saliman, a respected orthopedic surgeon, was impressed by Vergara’s vivacious personality. “Justin loves Sofia’s enthusiasm, character, sense of humor and how hardworking she is,” the source shares. “They love having fun at dinner nights and having natural chemistry, whether it’s just the two of them out or with friends too.”
The news comes as Vergara continues to move on from her past relationship with the actor Joe Manganiello.
According to court documents obtained by ET earlier this month, a sentence was handed down to dissolve the marriage of the ex-lovers, officially ending the marital union. Your single status has been restored.

O Griselda star took to her Instagram Story on Saturday and revealed some nuggets, including that she is in love with Saliman. Vergara also revealed that she underwent major knee surgery and that her handsome man is the one taking care of her.
Vergara rests on the bed with her leg wrapped in the photo she shared. Saliman is seen smiling as he wears his dark blue uniform and rests his hand on Vergara’s injured knee.
