comedy star Brad Williams it says Blake Griffin could easily move from setting up screens to creating jokes now that he’s retired from the NBA… counting TMZ Sports the former hooper is legitimately good at striking.
Williams said in Los Angeles on Tuesday – just hours after Griffin announced he was hanging your basketball sneakers – that he’s seen the former Clippers forward rock the mic before… and he was seriously impressed.
And Williams told us that if Griffin used his newfound free time to really commit to stand-up – he could be a real actor in the comedy world.
“I saw him do it in Montreal,” Williams said of Blake’s talent for making jokes. “And he’s good. And I hate that. Because you can’t be good at everything.”
Williams said Blake also has a lot of great material to work with… noting that as a former NBA player – and former Kardashian – he has a lot of ammunition to make audiences laugh.
Blake, of course, has made no secret of the fact that he’s at least a little interested in chasing laughs… he’s performed stand-up several times over the years – and even once participated in a hilarious Batalha do Assado 2018 with Jeff Ross.
Griffin, however, obviously doesn’t need a new career if he doesn’t want to – he’s made over $250 MILLION in NBA contracts alone – and if he finally decides to end up in a rocking chair on a porch somewhere, check out the clip, it looks like Williams would certainly be okay with it!
