Jill Zarin blamed “Beneath Deck” chief steward Fraser Olender for her “catastrophic” ride on the megayacht, which was documented in an episode of the Bravo series last week.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum said she has no regrets about her habits, which included having issues with food service, requesting a specific type of ice and even suggesting that guests be given a buzzer to summon crew members .
“I came in with the perspective that I want to make a big gift. I used to be me, actually I was me. I was the way I am in real life,” Zarin, 60, told Heather McDonald on Tuesday’s episode of her “Juicy Scoop” podcast.
“If I like my Diet Coke, then I need another one. If I don’t prefer it, I will send it again. If I don’t like my meals, I send them back. Most people do,” she continued.
“I feel like if the team had a different perspective on me and said, ‘Jill, she’s a little pushy, she’s a Jewish mom, she’s a little bit know-it-all,’ I feel like everyone would have leaned into that. ”
The reality TV star went on to recount the two-day stay, which cost his friend a whopping $45,000 for “5 meals” along with lodging.
“You get on the boat at 12 and immediately have lunch,” she said. “You get a proof – which I actually recorded on my phone and will send – from Fraser (Olender) explaining the format of the next two days.”
Zarin continued: “In fact, one of the things he emphasized that is ironic is that there will be regular snacks and meals everywhere. He really emphasized it and didn’t send it completely. When I think back to the trip, it was the boss’s job to make sure things ran smoothly, and I kind of blame him for the trip being a complete disaster.
The Bravolebrity noted that she “felt terrible” for her friends who paid for the trip.

“They spent an unlimited amount of money (and) I wanted them to have an amazing experience,” she said.
“I did this show because my friends wanted to be on TV. I don’t blame them, lots of people do. (But) I didn’t think about doing that to them because as long as I’m me, I’m fine.
“Beneath Deck” cast member and flight attendant Barbara “Barbie” Pascual later admitted that Zarin “was right” about some of her seemingly strange requests on the show.
“Guys, I watched the show and I don’t think Jill was as bad as she seemed, and I also want to say that there were so many other moments where she was super fun and sweet and good,” Pascual said on his Instagram Story last week.
She acknowledged that the former “housewife” was “demanding” but was “not impolite” and made requests that were “really regular requirements for a yacht” and “quite logical.”
“She was right. She just wanted nuggets of ice in her Food Coke, that’s not a big deal,” the flight attendant added.

However, during the episode, Pascual said that Zarin was “a lot” to handle.
“I feel like she’s annoying. You are a freeloader and extraordinarily demanding visitor. This is too much for me. I want another stew just for Jill,” she said in a confessional.
In the meantime, Olender joked, “Jill is creeping into my mind and consuming my soul.”
Chef Anthony Iracane also attacked the Jill & Ally founder in his confessional.
“I think the first one, she’s fine, but her friend taking the boat, it’s like she’s the fucking captain. Like boarding the ship,” she stated.
