Meghan Markle made a spring style statement while hosting an art event with Prince Harry.
In new Instagram images from the March 21 celebration honoring the Kinsey African-American Art Collection and Historical Past, the Duchess of Sussex sported a $3,790 Carolina Herrera cape lined with delicate floral embroidery.
She unbuttoned her layered black tracksuit during her outing at SoFi Stadium, revealing matching black pants underneath.
Markle, 42, completed her look with black flats, keeping her hair down and loose around her face.
“The cape Meghan is wearing is beautiful!” one Instagram user praised the ensemble, while another added: “I love it when she wears @carolinaherrera.”
Harry, meanwhile, wore a black suit as the couple helped display “one of the most detailed collections of African-American artwork, artifacts and documents.”
The former actress’ mother, Doria Ragland, also attended in a cream cardigan and posed for a photo with Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles.
The event included a “moderated dialogue” discussing “the history and meaning of Black art and how many communities can work together to protect this important piece of American history.”
The outing came amid conspiracy theories about the whereabouts of the Sussexes’ sister-in-law Kate Middleton, with the Princess of Wales revealing her cancer diagnosis in a video the following day.
Markle and Harry, 39, who reportedly heard about the 42-year-old’s health problems on TV, responded with a press release.
“We need health and healing for Kate and her family and we hope they can do this personally and in peace,” the pair said at the time.
Page Six confirmed that Markle and the former military pilot also contacted Middleton privately.
