Caitlyn beef with Biden
The 74-year-old is a staunch Conservative who transitioned in 2015. She took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to explain her complaint on Saturday, March 30.
“I am absolutely disgusted that Joe Biden declared the holiest of holy days – a self-proclaimed devout Catholic – to be Transgender Day of Visibility,” she said.
The Olympic gold medalist added, “The only thing you should declare on this day is ‘He is risen.’”

Social media immediately labeled her a hypocrite and ill-informed. Transgender Day of Visibility began in 2009 and has been celebrated every day on March 31 since then. Additionally, Jenner celebrated the holiday in 2017.
“There is no better visibility than with my sisters by my side,” Jenner wrote on X.

Tyrese demands apology from Biden
Grammy winner Tyrese was also outraged by the celebration of the holiday at Easter, although President Biden did not establish it. Rachel Crandall Crocker started Transgender Day of Visibility more than a decade ago. She is the co-founder of Transgender Michigan.
The controversial singer publicly demanded an apology from the leader of the free world, who has officially declared the March 29 public holiday to be celebrated on March 31, 2024 every year. It happens to fall on Easter this year. The date of Resurrection Sunday changes from year to year.

Biden said it is important to recognize that transgender Americans are part of the fabric of the United States.
“Whether serving their communities or military service, raising families or running businesses, they help America prosper,” the president stated.
He continued, “They deserve and are entitled to the same rights and freedoms as any other American, including the most fundamental freedom to be themselves.”
