Ezra MillerThe days of superheroes are over – at least as far as Amazon Prime animation is concerned… because their role in a blockbuster show was recast and happened under the radar.
The actor’s portrayal of mad scientist DA Sinclair in “Invincible” – in which Ezra only served as a voice actor in one season one episode – was scrapped in favor of another actor, Eric Bauza… whose other credits include ‘X-Men’ 97,’ ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ and more.
The character appeared again in a new episode this week for Season 2… but instead of Ezra’s voice, fans heard Eric’s… and the switch occurred silently, it seems.
No official explanation has been offered by Amazon – which produces and broadcasts ‘Invincible’ – for the change… but it seems pretty obvious to anyone watching. The fact is, Ezra has had a very turbulent two years… including many accusations thrown at them.

As we reported… Ezra accepted a deal in a criminal case he was facing in Vermont – this after being arrested and accused of robbery. It was just the latest in a series of incidents they’ve been involved in… some of which were captured on video across the country.
Of course, all of Ezra’s personal problems preceded the release of his big superhero movie ‘The Flash’… which ended up flopping at the box office. With that said, the director, Andy Muschietti, has said that he would be willing to recast Ezra as the Flash again if a sequel were to emerge.
It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, with James Gunn rebooting everything. Easy Come Easy Go.
