“There was an episode where Rosalina ‘cheated’ on Nat and kind of French-kissed a guy,” she recalled. “He is a 30-year-old man. I’m sorry, I couldn’t even watch it. It gives me shit and actually gives me PTSD.
Another Nickelodeon star is speaking out amid allegations made against Dan Schneider and Brian Peck in the docu-series ID, Silence on the set: the dark side of children’s TV.
Allie DiMeco, who starred The naked brother’s bandshared a TikTok detailing an incident in which she felt compelled to kiss a much older co-star despite saying she didn’t want to do it.
DiMeco said watching the doc “overwhelmed” her as she relived the “trauma” she went through while filming the Nickelodeon show.
“There was an episode where Rosalina ‘cheated’ on Nat and kind of French-kissed a guy,” she recalled. “He is a 30-year-old man. I’m sorry, I couldn’t even watch it. It gives me shit and actually gives me PTSD.
“I’m watching this. Silence on set documentary, and it talks about how integral and important it is to create — especially when it’s a child cast — to create an atmosphere where kids feel comfortable saying ‘No’ or ‘I’m not comfortable with this,’” the former Nickelodeon star continued. “And I say, ‘Yes, maybe they do that specifically, but it’s also more important to create an atmosphere that listens to kids and doesn’t force them to do things since they don’t want to do them.’

DiMeco further stated that he told producers “many times” that he didn’t want to do it, and even made his mother worry, but felt he would lose his job if he didn’t comply.
“My mother was very against it, and they almost made me feel like I was going to lose my job, that I might be fired if I didn’t do this. It was bizarre,” she shared.
DiMeco, who said she was 14 or 15 when the scene was filmed, said the actor who starred in it, Jake Hertzog, was in her 30s when they kissed on screen.
Online sources note, however, that Hertzog was born in 1986, making him around 21 years old at the time the scene was filmed.
These allegations are just the latest to emerge following the hard-hitting documentary, which saw the former Nick star, Drake Bellreveal that he was sexually abused by Peck.
As for why he shared his story so many years later, Bell said during a look at the Sarah Fraser’s Gift podcast, that although there was a lot of reluctance on his part at first, a visit to rehab and in-depth treatment made him decide he was ready.
He also invited his father, who had been pushed out of his life all these years by the manipulations of his abuser, to take part as well, hoping that perhaps it would be “cathartic and helpful” for him.

Nickelodeon’s official response was also part of the story, although Bell wasn’t too impressed with it. Regarding its response to Bell’s story, Nickelodeon said in a statement: “Now that Drake Bell has revealed his identity as the plaintiff in the 2004 case, we are dismayed and saddened to learn of the trauma he suffered, and we commend and support the energy needed to get back to the front.”
“While we cannot corroborate or deny allegations of behavior from long-ago productions, Nickelodeon, for the sake of coverage, investigates all formal complaints as part of our commitment to promoting a protected {and professional} office atmosphere free from harassment. or different types of inappropriate conduct.”
Bell stated, “It was a very well-tailored response, saying, ‘Learning about his trauma,’ because they couldn’t say they didn’t know about it or what had happened, or anything like that. So I believe it was an extremely well-tailored response, probably from some big Hollywood legal professional.
“I find it quite empty, their responses, because, I mean, they still show our programs, they still put them on. And I have to pay for my own treatment,” she added.
“If there was something, if there was some truth behind them really being thoughtful, there could be something greater than quotes on a page from an authoritative advisor telling you exactly how you can personalize a response.”
As for Schneider, who had myriad allegations of toxic and abusive conduct on set and sexually inappropriate content on his shows made against him in the document, Bell reiterated the fact that it was Schneider who reached out to him after Peck’s trial.

“He knew what I was probably going through, but I can tell in his voice that he bought into it a lot — there was a lot of pain and anger, but he was very gentle with me, and that was my experience,” Bell stated.
At the same time, while acknowledging that his experience with Schneider was very different from that of many of his young colleagues, Bell said he would never want to cut off their voices or stories.
“I can only react and respond to what I have actually experienced and also not say anything that would take away from anyone else the comfort, energy and bravado to tell their story and share their experiences,” Bell said.
