“I often tell myself that I really must be the kind of grandmother who takes my grandson out to dinner once a month,” Jenner said on the Los Angeles Journal’s The LA Lady Luncheon. “…if I did that, it could take me half a month, just to go out to dinner with my grandchildren.”

Jenner, who was honored as Los Angeles Journal’s Lady of the Year Last week, I sat down with the diary to break down how she does it all – well, almost.
During the candid chat, Jenner, 68, who said she has no plans to retire anytime soon, informed the outlet that she has given up on spending time alone with all 13 of her grandchildren.
The explanation? The momager claimed she would “go broke” if she did.
“I often tell myself that I really must be the kind of grandmother who takes my grandson out to dinner once a month,” Jenner said at the magazine’s The LA Lady Luncheon on Thursday. “Like actually getting to know your grandson and seeing what’s going on at school and all that stuff. And I thought if I did that, it would take half a month, just to go out to dinner with my grandchildren.”
She continued: “And I say, no, I’m not going to try that. They can’t seem to get it out of me.”

Jenner stated that she made the choice after taking her daughter, Kourtney KardashianMason’s oldest son, 14, went out to dinner and made a pretty lofty promise — she said she would buy him a car if he avoided drinking and taking pills before he turned 16.
“I think I made a little mistake because I took Mason to dinner and I was in a really good mood,” Jenner recalled. “I probably had a vodka or something, I don’t know if I wasn’t driving.”
She continued: “But we met at dinner because he likes to eat sushi and I said, ‘Listen when you don’t drink or take medicine until you’re sixteen, and you can prove it – it involves tests and all sorts of things – I’ll buy an automobile to you on your sixteenth birthday.’”
“And he liked that and from what I realized I had to do it 13 times,” joked Jenner, who is reportedly worth around $200 million. “I’m broke! 13 occurrences.”

Along with Mason, Jenner is grandmother to Kourtney’s daughter, Penelope, 11, and son, Reign, 8, who she shares with her ex, Scott Disickplus new son, Rocky, whom she welcomed with her husband Travis Barkerin November.
Jenner’s daughter, Kim Kardashian, also has four children, all from her marriage to Kanye West. Ten-year-old North, adopted by Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4

Despite not spending much face-to-face time with her growing brood, Jenner will still be getting quality time with her grandchildren, most recently celebrating their birthdays alongside Khloe and Rob’s kids, and enjoying some of the little ones to see. The Grinch Stole Christmas again in December.
