Former member of Danity Kane Aubrey O’Day weighed on the recent attack conducted by Homeland Security in Sean”Diddy“Combs’ residences in Miami and Los Angeles.
Federal law enforcement agents raided the GRAMMY-winning rapper’s homes on Monday, sparking a flood of reactions. O’Day took to Instagram Stories to share a headline detailing the attack, adding her comment with a cryptic message: “What you sow, you will reap.”
The 40-year-old singer hoped this incident would empower victims of various injustices to speak out about their experiences. His social media posts ended with a video tribute to the late Tupac Shakur, suggesting that the drama surrounding Diddy was long overdue.
The raid captured on video showed federal agents descending on Diddy’s properties with guns drawn and helicopters circling overhead. Among those seen being handcuffed were two individuals believed to be Diddy’s sons, Justin and Christian, aka
“King.”
“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York performed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners,” said a representative from Homeland Security Investigations told ET. “We will provide more information as it becomes available.”
After the attack, Diddy was supposedly detected rhythm outside Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, with speculation that his private jet had landed in the Caribbean amid the events.
ET has reached out to Diddy’s representatives and attorneys for comment.
In SeptemberO’Day said her former mentor, Diddy, requested that she sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), preventing her from speaking negatively about him and his record label, Bad Boy.
O’Day said this in a YouTube video where she also mentioned her refusal to sign the NDA and advised her Danity Kane bandmates not to sign it either.
In an interview with @SOHTV, the presenter asked about the timing of this request, to which O’Day replied: “I received it a few months ago, when he started it”. O’Day and his group, Danity Kane, collaborated with Bad Boy Records for six years, during which they produced two platinum albums.
Combs previously announced his intention to return rights to artists he had previously signed. O’Day commented on this development, highlighting that some artists are now receiving streaming royalties and regaining ownership of their music publishing rights.
She emphasized the importance of this gesture, especially considering the minimal earnings of streaming services in the past.
Expressing solidarity with her group members, O’Day stated, “As someone who values unity among women, I immediately reached out to everyone in my group and advised them not to accept this deal. I believe we can secure a show on Hulu now .”

At the time of Cassie’s lawsuit, O’Day shared her thoughts in a statement to ET, saying, “I fully support Cassie. It’s not easy to stand up to one of the most powerful people in this industry and be honest about your experience with them. I know what her heart is feeling it right now, because I felt it too. May her voice bring everyone else to the table, so we can start to have more transparent conversations about what’s really going on behind the scenes. There’s so much more in all our stories!”
She also posted about the lawsuit multiple times on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I’ve been trying to tell you all for years” in reaction to Cassie’s allegations.
Just one day later archiving your case against Diddy, Cassie and her ex reached an agreementAnd confirmed.
In a statement to ET, Diddy said, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably.” He added, “I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
“Just so we’re clear, the decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” Diddy’s attorney Ben Brafman said in a statement to ET. “Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit in no way undermines his full denial of the claims. He is pleased that they have reached a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
Sources close to the situation told ET, “The decision to reach a quick and private settlement was largely influenced by considerations for Diddy’s family.”
