Kate Middleton saga highlights lack of public trust in the royal family

Kate MiddletonBritain’s recent health struggles have made the world question every new image of the princess… and are highlighting the absolute loss of trust in the British monarchy as a whole.

We spoke to several experts and pundits for our new documentary “TMZ Investigates: Where is Kate Middleton?” — which airs at 9/8c Central Thursday on FOX — and everyone agrees that the loss of faith is what sparked so many theories.

David Jorgenson – a senior reporter at The Washington Post – told us the TMZ video obtained The image of Kate walking around Windsor last weekend immediately raised alarm bells for some because the palace had not communicated with people, creating distrust.

Meanwhile, the royal correspondent Ellie Hall attributes numerous conspiracies to Kate’s totally altered appearance – pointing to her sunglasses, hair, and face as specifically altered features.

Piers Morgan says categorically that the Palace shot itself in the foot by releasing that heavily edited photo on Mother’s Day, in a failed attempt to make us believe that Kate is okay.

As things turn out… exactly the opposite has happened, and people are more worried than ever about the Princess of Wales.
