The transgender woman who was severely beaten in Kanye WestLast week’s Rolling Loud set is branding the attack as transphobic… while also explaining what exactly led to it.
Blue Linares — the 22-year-old who was seen in a violent fight last week while Ye was performing here in Los Angeles — told TMZ that she believes the violence she suffered that night is directly linked to her gender identity.

She says she feels like the men she fought with singled her out for unintentionally bumping into them — explaining that in the mosh pit-like environment, she was being pushed around — despite many other spectators crowded into the tight space doing the same thing. .
After she inadvertently made contact, Blu tells us the guys hurled transphobic comments at her… while trying to paint her as the aggressor when they were the ones who attacked first.
Blu shows us some of the injuries he suffered during the melee – a deep gash between his eyebrows is especially bad, as you can see. Despite everything, she says she is fine.
Moving forward, Blu is planning to meet with some lawyers to weigh his options…but also notes that he probably won’t take any legal action. Blu emphasizes to us that she wasn’t the one who started the fight – instead, she says she was being bullied and defended herself.
You may remember… Kanye West’s set at Rolling Loud turned into a violent mosh pit, with Blu bloodied and beaten in the middle of it all. While she was beaten, she also held her own.
Blu says the police didn’t get involved.
