Brown trim was negatively affected by social media before his death – and it impacted his own sense of self-worth… this according to one of his brothers.
The “Sister Wives” star’s real sister Madison Brown Brushwent online to post an emotional video reflecting on her brother’s untimely passing — and she was very vocal about her mental health struggles, while also acknowledging that she pointed to mental health conversations in general.
Maddie explains that her brother was struggling with internal issues – and even says he felt like he wasn’t doing enough in his life… using social media as a point of comparison.
She also says something very poignant…namely, social media isn’t real.
Maddie goes on to explain how she and the rest of the family have been dealing with Garrison’s suicide – describing how difficult it has been to find a new sense of normalcy.
She encouraged her followers to remember that social media is just a snapshot of someone’s life – it doesn’t show everything. Remember, Garrison’s loved ones say he seemed perfectly happy online… having just adopted a new cat days before he died by suicide.
Maddie goes on to say that she will continue to highlight mental health… and sends a message to people who may be battling demons – telling them that if they’re not feeling satisfied with how they’re spending their time, they need to change that as soon as possible. quickly as possible.
We tell the story… Garrison was found dead at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, in early March. The Flagstaff Police Department tells us that foul play is not suspected, as Garrison appeared to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He was only 25 years old.
