Here’s What Happened to Lil Jon
On Friday, March 15, a Muslim photographer named Rahim Siddiq took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share images that featured Lil Jon. The clip was tagged with King Fahad Mosque. Additionally, Siddiq’s post had a few words:
“Lil Jon (@LilJon) just accepted Islam at King Fahad Mosque in Los Angeles before the jummah prayer. Welcome to Islam, brother!…”
In the clip, Lil Jon pledged his “obedience” and made his declaration of faith in the religion, first speaking in Arabic and then in English.
“I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah,” the rapper said in the clip. “Alone. Without a partner. And I testify that Muhammad is his servant and final messenger.”

Lil Jon’s commitment to Islam comes at a significant time. According to AlmanacRamadan, a holy month celebrated by Muslims, began on March 10. The event involves followers of the faith participating in a fast until the end of the holy month, on April 9th.

Lil Jon has already made a recent change to his music
As The Shadow Room Previously reported, Lil Jon made headlines last month when he confirmed that Justin Bieber refused to participate in Usher’s Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance.
“…I think Justin just wasn’t ready. It’s a lot of rehearsal, a lot of responsibility, a lot of time and a lot of looks. I don’t know if he was ready to do all that, you know? he explained during an interview with TMZ.
At the same time, the rapper also surprised his fans. At the time, he released a full-length meditation album, which presented a stark contrast to his typical catalog of crunk music, by Launch.
At this time, Lil Jon has not yet spoken publicly about his decision to follow Islam. Laughing place reports that he is scheduled to appear on the ‘Tamron Hall Show’ on March 19.
Maybe he’ll discuss his recent life update there.
