The plot thickens.
Several of Kate Middleton’s senior staff have reportedly not engaged with her amid growing concern for the Princess of Wales’s well-being.
“Some of Kate’s senior staff weren’t able to see or communicate with her and didn’t even know about the surgery until it was announced, so it caught them off guard,” a source told Us Weekly. Wednesday.
“Only a few people know what’s really going on and they keep quiet.”
In January, Kensington Palace released a shocking statement claiming that Middleton, 42, was undergoing “planned stomach surgery” and would remain in hospital for up to two weeks.
The mother of three — who shares Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, with husband Prince William — was not expected to renew her royal duties until “after Easter.”
Since she was released from the hospital, Us Weekly’s supply claims that Middleton has had two guests: King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
However, the royal source notes that – otherwise – there was a “shroud of secrecy” surrounding the princess, which would have precipitated further confusion and concern.
Page Six reached out to the Kensington Palace press office for comment on the source’s comments, but did not immediately receive a response.
The establishment has been scrutinized for the way it handled the entire Middleton hypothesis.
After conspiracy theorists took over the internet sharing that they believe the princess is lost because of everything from secret marital problems to her getting a Brazilian butt augmentation, a suspicious photo of Middleton was released for Mother’s Day in Britain. Brittany.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed almost immediately that the image had been edited, and photography companies — including Related Press — released a death notice for the image soon after, confirming that it had been doctored.
Instagram also added a warning to the photo, noting that it had ended up being “altered.”
Middleton herself then apologized via a post on X, saying that “like many new photographers,” she “sometimes experiments with editing.”
“I want to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused,” she added in the statement released last week.
However, some believed that Middleton didn’t actually write that post, and a source has now told Us Weekly that the release of the quirky Mother’s Day photo was supposedly a “collective determination.”
Royalty’s unmissable extra protection:
“(The idea was that) Kate could thank the public for all their support and, at the same time, put to rest some of these ridiculous conspiracy rumors,” the source told the outlet.
Kensington Palace, in turn, refused to release the original photo of Middleton posing with her three young children, further fanning the flames.
However, there were two paparazzi sightings of the princess during this time, with a photo of her leaving Windsor Castle with William, 41. But even that photo is believed to have been Photoshopped.
“Kate is extremely excited to get back to work,” a source told Us Weekly. “This has been one of the toughest months for Kate as a senior royal, and she is praying the upheaval ends as soon as possible.”
The source added whether Middleton plans to clarify the document: “Maybe if she’s feeling it, she might reveal more, but she’s not making any guarantees.”
