Wendy Williams‘Guardian unsuccessfully sued to block the release of the new documentary following his struggles… and now the lawsuit has been filed — and it gives an inside look into Williams’ day-to-day life.
Here’s the deal: Former talk show host’s temporary guardian Sabrina Morrissey processed in February to prevent the document “Where is Wendy Williams?” was released – an attempt that failed, as we now know.

These legal documents were originally sealed… but are now available for anyone to read – and provide insight into both Morrissey’s argument and his description of Williams’ recent condition.
In documentation obtained by TMZ, Morrissey argued that Williams was incapable of handling his own business when he signed the documentary deal. The same goes for her role as executive producer – Morrissey says Williams wasn’t able to handle that job effectively… even wasn’t able to adequately shape the way she was portrayed.
SM says WW’s ability to care for herself has also deteriorated since the conservatorship began… and she says Wendy now needs constant daily supervision to “ensure her safety, well-being and comfort, and to preserve her dignity”.
Morrissey stated that he was originally told the doc would feature Williams’ comeback story, showing Wendy in a positive light – and Morrissey said he was under the impression he would see the final product before it was released.
Sabrina added that she was totally surprised when the trailer was released… because she said she never saw the final version of the doc.
Of course… days before the document’s release, Wendy’s team revealed that she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia last year, and she entered a treatment center to deal with her health issues as well.

The creative team behind the documentary said they never would have made it if they had known about the diagnosis… although it seems hard to believe they had no indication of his health issues, given the kind of care Morrissey detailed in his filing.
In short… the story behind “Where’s Wendy Williams?” It got a lot darker.
